Edward Atkinson Hornel

Edward Atkinson Hornel spent his early life in Scotland. He studied at the Trustees Academy, Edinburgh and went on to study under Verlat in Antwerp. He began exhibiting in Glasgow in 1890 and became a prominent member of the Glasgow school. He is best known for his paintings of children and flowers in a rich mosaic of color.
