George Sheridan Knowles

George Sheridan Knowles, a British artist, was born in 1863 and died in 1931 or 1937. He was a painter of genre scenes and portraits and also a watercolorist. He was a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and was an Associate of the Royal Cambrian Academy. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, at Suffolk Street, and at the New Society of Painters in Watercolours after 1885. He obtained an Honorable Mention in Paris in 1900 at the Universal Exposition.
