A.L. Grace was a well-known Victorian artist in England. He painted cricket and fishing subjects as well as connoisseurs and collectors pursuing their passions. He rarely dated his works. The appeal of his themes led to a demand for them to be engraved, thus making them accessible to a larger audience.
