Alfred de Breanski
Alfred de Breanski was born in Greenwich, England, in 1852. He was the eldest son of Leopold de Breanski of the family of British landscape painters. He exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1872 and 1890, and at the Society of British Artists on Suffolk Street. His prolific output included views of the River Thames, where he kept a boathouse, but he is most recognized for his paintings of the Scottish countryside.
