Bernadette Bawol

Bernadette Bawol was born in France in 1945, she has made drawings and pictures all her life, but it was only in the 1980's when her children were grown up that she was really able to concentrate on the artistic side of her life. She works only in oil and has developed a very personal style made of precision, warmth, realism and personal atmosphere. She has been living for several years in Holland and the contact with native Artists and Masters gave her a Dutch influence particularly strong in her game and still life scenes. She now lives in England where she has grasped the wildlife and countryside’s atmospheric beauty. Her work has regularly been successful in France, Holland and Italy.
