Charles Armand Etienne Thomas specialized in flower paintings. His style is very distinctive with such a luxurious use of paint in the 19th Century. He exhibited at the Salon de Paris where he won a medal in 1886. Today his paintings are in the collection of the Musee Le Havre and the Musee Nantes.
