Peder Monsted

Peder Monsted was born December 10, 1859, close to Grenaa and died in 1941. Monsted, a Danish artist, painted portraits and landscapes. He was a student at he Academy of Copenhagen. He made visits to Italy, Switzerland and Paris. He exhibited in Charlottenborg. He is best known for his paintings of snow-covered mountains and forests. His works have been displayed in museums in Aalborg - Bautzen.
