Charles Branwhite

Born in Bristol, England, in 1817, Charles Branwhite was a pupil of his father, a miniaturist painter, and of William Muller, whose style greatly influenced his work. He showed works at the Royal academy, the British Institution and the Society of British Artists at Suffolk Street from 1843 to 1879.
