Sir George Clausen R.A

Sir George Clausen studied painting in England at Widdington in Essex from 1891 to 1905. He exhibited after 1874 at the Royal Watercolor Society and was a member of the Royal Academy. He became one of the greatest English Impressionist painters. Clausen was knighted in 1927.
