Georges Ferdinand Lemmers

Georges Ferdinand Lemmers was born in Antwerp, Belgium He was a pupil at the Academy of Fine Art in Antwerp under the direction of Albrecht Vriendt, and went on to study at the Mechelen Academy under Jean Guillaume Rosier. During World War II he moved to Portugal where he settled. Today Lemmer's paintings hang in museums in Brussels, Sint-Joost-ten-Noode, Bruges and Antwerp, Belgium.
